I am building a palor guitar for my granddaughter, Rosie. Rosie just turned five and will require a smaller guitar to fit her fingers and arm reach. My parlor guitar will do that and sound much more like a full size guitar than the 3/4 size guitars I have built in the past. We have decided on Palo Escrito ( a Rosewood from Central America) for the sides and back with a soundboard of Master grade White Spruce from Northern Canada. We will be choosing some unique inlays as the build progresses. Starting the build by thinning and laying out the dimensions on the sides:
